On the heels of passing H.R. 5587 by 405 to 5, the House Education and the Workforce Committee has shared its analysis of the legislation here.

On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, the House of Representatives passed HR 5587, the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, which reauthorizes the Perkins Career and Technical Education Act. The vote was 405 to 5 demonstrating the broad, bipartisan support for the program.
